There is a difference between nutrition and fueling. Nutrition is highly important, but when it comes to planning for and recovering from endurance activities there are different factors that come into play. I have put together this template for use as a guideline. There are no hard and fast rules when it comes to this stuff, and obviously if you have special considerations, like my athletes who are Type One Diabetics, consult an expert in the exercise nutrition field along with your licensed physician.
